Front-end development · web QA · AI evaluation

I build and test digital products.

I’m Alex Zheng, a Computer Information Systems student and independent builder focused on front-end development, web QA, and AI evaluation. I turn rough requirements into responsive interfaces, testable flows, and documented fixes.

01 / What I do

Practical technical work, backed by careful review.

I focus on work that can be demonstrated: building interfaces, finding failures, documenting what happened, and improving the result.

Front-end

I build responsive interfaces, content-heavy websites, discovery tools, and early product prototypes.

Quality assurance

I test navigation, forms, mobile behavior, content consistency, edge cases, and deployment results.

AI evaluation

I review multimodal output and timestamped caption tracks against detailed accuracy and quality standards.

03 / Method

How I take a project from rough idea to working site.

  1. I define the job. I identify who the page is for and what they should be able to do.
  2. I build the smallest useful version. I get the structure and main path working before adding extras.
  3. I use it like a visitor. I check the phone layout, links, forms, copy, and awkward edge cases.
  4. I keep a real issue list. I fix what is broken or unclear instead of polishing around it.

04 / About

I am building toward technical product roles.

I am completing a Computer Information Systems degree while building independent web products and working on AI evaluation and timestamped video-captioning contracts. My direction is front-end development, software quality, and reliable digital systems.
